First NFL Pass, Jets’ Sanchez Delivers

FROM NFLnews

East Rutherford, New Jersey, Kellen Clemens has only against his helmet for a white baseball cap, if Mark Sanchez, the only player between him and the role of starting quarterback keepseluding Eclipsed his nights in a single game. Clemens has a quiet show two major execution units, 4-4 passing for 24 yards and a fumble messy. Sanchez went directly to the spectacular in the Jets season opener Friday night, a 23-20 loss at St. Louis Rams.  Falling deep into the pocket until Sanchez left then right and saw David Clowney break the right side. He sent a pass Clowneys fell to the 48-yard completion.

Seven plays later, Sanchez finished the series only to the ball to Thomas Jones for a 1-yard touchdown and a 10-3 lead term. Sanchez finished 3 of 4 passes for 88 yards on thedrive. The closest Clemens has at the end zone was a 5-yard completion Rams 20-yard line, which left the Jets less than a first resort. They settled for a field goal.  After his third round went to Erik Ainger Jets for the rest of the game. Missing in the three starting offensive lineman Alan Faneca, Nick Mangold and Damien Woody Ryandid trainer Rex does not want to leave their top quarterback for too long. Ainger turn a 50-yard touchdown pass to Clowney briefly in the fourth quarter before the Jets, 20-16. The first game season, is obviously not sufficient to bring the past a camp close to the competition between Clemens and Sanchez. However, Ryan said that the name hewould on an entry in the third season game against the Giants on 29 August This may mean waiting two weeks, but Clemens who played backup to Brett Favre and ChadPennington in previous seasons, said he used.
